McDonnell also designed books on Ralph Bakshi, Bill Plympton, Wonder Woman, and more. He lives in Philadelphia.
Jorge R. Gutierrez, born in Mexico City and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, is an animator, voice actor, painter, writer, and director who has completed various films, cartoons, illustrations, and paintings exploring his love affair with Mexican pop and folk culture. Along with his wife and muse, Sandra Equihua, he created the multiple Annie and Emmy Award-winning animated television series
El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera for Nickelodeon. Gutierrez cowrote and directed the animated film

Maya and the Three.
Sandra Equihua, born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, is an illustrator, voice actor, producer, and character designer, who melds the influences of midcentury design and her Mexican heritage. She has designed characters for
