This is a collection of stories that was over 3 years in the making. Over the past years, I have spent a great deal of time and effort crafting the best stories I possibly could, and after editing and checking and re-checking, these stories were the very best of all that I have done. I have had a good deal of education in different topics, and a good deal of experience. I studied Law Enforcement, Psychology and Criminology and spent 15 years working as a security guard, and those experiences inspired me to write stories about scams and rip-offs, some of the shadier side of things. I also have been very interested in the military and history of the world wars, and I have written into this book some stories that focus on the life of veterans. The collection could be called a thriller, could be called fantasy, but I like to think that it is simply a number of well-written stories put together.

I was born in what is now the most preferred city in Canada to live in, called St.Albert after the Catholic Priest who founded the city. I loved living there, and had a happy childhood. There were always fun things to do, sliding in the winter, bike riding in the summer, and always there were ways to make a little money. When I didn't have much I would walk the mile after school down to the library and take out books, when I had a little money from working on a local farm, delivering papers or shovelling walks, I would buy books like "Choose Your Own Adventure" or "The Great Brain" to name a few. I also liked every type of comic book from Superman to Archie. I never could get enough of stories. Towards the end of my teen years, I had a bunch of problems due to having the illness Bipolar Disorder and spent time in hospitals. I made sense out of what seemed like a cold reality by writing about it, and ended up putting out a book called Through The Withering Storm, which has done well. I never stopped writing, and it liberated me I feel. I really enjoy short stories because I seem to be able to master the technique of them, while I haven't had as much luck with novels. I once won a short story contest and was given a prize that was absolutely perfect--$250 worth of used books at my favourite used book store. I was also mentioned on the CBC Canada Writes website as one of the top 11 young writers to watch.
