Inklusive eines umfangreichen Kapitels über ZIMBL, einer gro en Konzerthistory und einem ausführlichen Part rund um die musikalischen Aktivitäten der früheren Bandmitglieder nach der Auflösung der Bates. Dazugemischt wurden viele persönliche Ansichten und erzählte Erlebnisse & Erinnerungen eines THE BATES-Fans im Zusammenhang mit diesem Quartett aus dem hessischen Städtchen Eschwege. Au erdem mit reingemixt wurde die ausführliche Meinung eines BATES-Fans zu den Veröffentlichungen der Band.

Linus Lumpitzsch erblickte am 8.8.1976 in Stuttgart das Licht der Welt und begann in der zweiten Hälfte der 90er Jahre seine Liebe für das Schreiben zu entdecken. Nach einer Ausbildung zum Industriekaufmann und anschließender Tätigkeit bei einer Zeitung schrieb er sich während dem Zivildienst in einen Wahn. Resultat waren viele Kurzgeschichten, erste Fragmente von Romanen, sowie jede Menge Gedichte und Gedanken. In den meisten der Geschichten - häufiger im Bereich des Thrillers zuhause - kommen merkwürdige Typen vor. Manchmal geht es leise und fast wie in Zeitlupe nachdenklich zu, wobei auch persönlich Erlebtes verarbeitet wird, hin und wieder wird es aber auch laut, mysteriös, böse und rasant. Danach machte sich Linus Lumpitzsch daran, sich während der Mitarbeit bei einem Gebrauchtbuchprojekt daheim einen großen Traum zu erfüllen, und begann mit dem Schreiben bzw. Überarbeiten von Geschichten für das Kurzgeschichten-Buch "8", welches im Frühling 2011 erschien. Neben dem aktiven Schreiben liebt der Autor das Bücherlesen von ganzem Herzen, außerdem ist er leidenschaftlicher Hörer von Musik und liebt den Film. Linus Lumpitzsch lebt derzeit in seiner Geburtsstadt Stuttgart.
