Benoy Kumar Sarkar (1887–1949) was an Indian social scientist, nationalist, and founder of several institutes in Calcutta. Born in Malda, West Bengal, he entered the University of Calcutta at 13, graduating at 18 with dual degrees in English and history. He later became a professor and head of the Economics Department at the university. Sarkar praised Nazism and advocated for a fascist dictatorship in India. He played a crucial role in India's National education movement and was influenced by Sister Nivedita's actions. Fluent in multiple languages, he authored numerous publications on various subjects, including Hindu sociology, culture, and international relations.
