Deary, Lawrence: - Lawrence, or Larry as his friends call him, was born and raised in Michigan, and currently resides in a suburb about 30 miles north of downtown Detroit. His debut children's picture book, "The Boy Who Talked to the Moon," was originally written for his grandchildren several years ago. The story was expanded and enhanced with illustrations and published December 2024.Larry, retired from a career in human resources administration and consulting, is a military veteran. While in college, he was a journalism major prior to being attracted to human resources. He is a sports enthusiast following his Detroit professional teams and enjoys golf.
