The South Florida-based, Christian-oriented superhero team Circle of Light, is torn apart from its battle with the strange creature appearing after a meteorite impact on Jekyll Island, Georgia named The Great Terror. The team must then be rebuilt with all new members, but this second Circle of Light faces additional perils orchestrated by an even greater conspiracy from the first group's one expelled former member. The ex-hero Shining Light seeks not only his old team's destruction to the last member but also new laws and regulations that would eventually make all costumed crime fighters into outlaws.

John X. Grey is the pen name of Edwin Ray Haney, a Southern Ohio native who has lived his entire life in the same small town along the banks of the Ohio River. Writing fiction since the late 1990s, Grey has authored close to a dozen novels since 2000, along with more than 100 shorter fiction pieces and a handful of poems. Some of those short stories and poems appear in anthologies from Aurora Wolf Press, Lame Goat/Shade City Press, Leucrota Press, Pill Hill Press, Static Movement and Wicked East Press, and at the websites Static Movement Online and Tales of the Zombie War. With two other novels self-published in 2011, the sci-fi adventure Worldjumpers: An amazing Journey to Parallel Worlds and the vampire hunter noir horror suspense tale A Legacy of Blood: Jack Petrov Private Investigator/Vampire Hunter, Grey now releases his third successfully self-published effort, with more yet to come from this prolific new 21st Century author.
