Developed from an education program in clinical geriatrics offered through the Division on Aging of the Harvard Medical School, this authoritative text provides broad, interdisciplinary coverage of geriatric health care. It integrates the various topics covered by way of section introductions, cross-references within chapters, a case study and case conference, and an introductory chapter of discussions among a panel of aged people. With contributions from a wide range of experts, this book teaches an interdisciplinary perspective on the aged and their health care, and examines the working relationships among the many professionals providing care for the aged.

David G. Satin, M.D., was educated at Princeton University and the Harvard Medical School. He had fellowship training in both Community Mental Health and Research Methods for Psychiatrists. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School and a lecturer at the Boston University School of Medicine Division of Psychiatry, and is on the staff at both the Newton-Wellesley and McLean Hospitals.
