This story follows the life and romance of EMILEE EVANS, and her best friend, SALLY WYATT, who meet a well-known horse whisperer, DYLAN MURPHY, at an equine clinic one weekend in Sundance, Wyoming. That in turn leads them on a ride they will not soon forget, with Emilee's loyal companion, Juniper, by her side. Meeting Dylan brings her back into the world of horses that she had given up years ago, after an emotional falling out with her father. Dylan happens upon an injured wild Mustang, and after bringing it home, Dylan mentors and coaches Emilee along, as they work together to enter a fierce competition. A romance soon blossoms between Dylan and Emilee, which proves to be fate. After wandering off the road, looking for work and a bunk, Shane proves to be a challenge and an ongoing problem for Dylan and Emilee. Dylan, with his trustworthy foreman Cody, and his two hands, end up fighting for the ranch left to Dylan and his estranged brother, years before. Meanwhile, a family secret the two brothers bear threatens to get in the way of the couple's newfound happiness. Some messy predicaments prove to be a challenge along the way, for both Dylan and Emilee, trying to keep the beloved ranch and their relationship intact. Finally, combining their fortitude and strengths, and a surprisingly generous gift from her father, they find a life of rewards and peace in the wild high country of Wyoming.

Carson, Kim Souza: -

Kim Souza Carson started out as an artist, doing paintings with acrylics on canvas, but as the years past and technology grew Kim grew with it, teaching herself art softwares and to paint digitally, but that's another story. With vast interests in all that is artistic, Kim began making jewelry and has done quite well. But there was always something in the back of her mind that wanted to tell stories and delve into fantasy worlds. She had created a children's character some years back that will soon be in book form and there has always been a yen to tackle a graphic novel, doing all the art on both the children's book and graphic novel. Those are projects to come, but for now she has published two novels of very different worlds. One is a fantasy romance novel, strictly adult reading, The Wooded Instrument, as is the sci-fi novel, Female Attributes, with strong women characters.
