Surendra Kumar Datta (1878–1942) was an influential Indian Christian leader, educator, and social reformer. Born in Lahore, he studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh and became a prominent figure in the YMCA, eventually serving as president of the Indian YMCA. Datta was also the president of the All India Conference of Indian Christians and represented the community at the Second Round Table Conference in London in 1931. He served as a member of the Central Legislative Assembly from 1924 to 1926. A devout Christian, Datta was a critic of Hinduism and Western Christianity, advocating for national integration and spiritual renewal.
