Killeen, James: - Since 2003, I've been editing and writing children's content ranging from marketing materials to published books. I am very familiar with the many moving parts of a children's book project and have developed effective communication skills navigating that landscape. I'm also silly enough to enjoy children's stories as much as (or more than) my two children, ages 3 and 5. If I don't make them laugh every day, I've failed as a goofball. While children's stories are (hopefully) be fun and whimsical, the business of creating them properly is a serious one. I aim to never lose my focus on the ultimate goal of children's books-families spending time reading together with their young children, hopefully laying the foundation for a lifelong reading adventure.
