What rights might they have? What will happen to them when they have outlived their usefulness? The Electric Woman explores these issues, set against a poignant love story, as Holly, unlike any machine before her, experiences love, tragedy, loneliness, and the pain of loss.

James Scott (formerly writing as B J Scott) is the multiple-award winning author of five previous novels. This is his first venture into speculative fiction. His previous books have won the WILLA Literary Award for Original Softcover Fiction, the Beverly Hills Book Award for Historical Fiction, Bronze Medalist in the Will Rogers Medallion Awards for Western Romance, and runner-up in the National Indie Excellence Awards for Historical Fiction. He holds Bachelor's Degrees from Washington State University and Brooks Institute of Photography, and is a public speaker, manuscript editor, and former professional photographer. He lives in Oregon with his wife.
