Born and raised in New York City, Sharyne Wolfe is a fashion design graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology. She has a master's degree in Clothing and Textiles from NYU. She has worked in the areas of costume design for Radio City Music Hall; has designed mass market junior sportswear, sold her childrenswear to top Madison Avenue boutiques and designed custom leather clothing for the rock group, Fleetwood Mac. She has also designed shoes and designed handbags that she sold to Bloomingdale's. She has been a professor of fashion design for the last twenty-five years and was one of the authors of the design program at Nassau Community College in New York. She has mentored over one thousand design students who are, or have been employed in top positions for companies like Tracey Reese, Cynthia Steffe, Cynthia Rowley, Sears/KMart, Perry Ellis, Victoria's Secret and Derek Lam. She is an consummate shopper and trolls the stores regularly to unearth the best for less.
