At the end, the sword will fall into Broddin's hand...and Gem will stand against the man she loves, beside the demon who has haunted both their nightmares for years. Outside a modern city in ruins, an ancient sword is tossed into the air. Time itself hangs upon the desperate battle between a young girl and a powerful demon to grasp and hold that sword.

In addition to the novels in the Gem series, Joseph P. Stringer writes children's books, poetry, songs and non-fiction. His writing has been published in trade magazines and local publications in the Charleston, South Carolina area. His first children's illustrated book, "The U-Pick Farm" was published early in 2014. He has several more planned for the near future, along with two non-fiction books on his journey from Atheism to Christ and on our nature as beings created in God's image.
