The Green Wave is a Steampunk story of action, adventure and mystery set in Australia in the convict era.

Yearning for freedom within the constraints of Victorian society and a tightly-laced corset, Rosalyn Flynn endeavours to conform to the teachings of her Church--The Church of the Sun Cog.

Sent as a Missionary by the Church to the Australian colonial frontier, Rosalyn finds herself entangled in a mysterious quest. As she flies her airship deeper into the outback her goal of bringing Enlightenment to the heathens slips further from her grasp. Her view of the world--and herself--is challenged by events and by her companions.

Mature readers with a love of individuality and personal freedom, and who have a liking for strong female characters, will find the story engaging. Touching on themes of anti-authoritarianism, colonialism, sexuality and class, The Green Wave puts the 'punk' into this Australian steampunk tale.
