Or: Does a specific fiber meets their needs? The Guide to Textile Fibers (GTF) works in two ways: first, by comparing the different fibers to one another using a comparator. The second is focusing on each of the fibers through datasheets. These technical datasheets are designed to allow the reader to quickly find the information they want. They are structured, concise and organized to increase search speed. The purpose of the GTF is primarily to serve as a reference tool for professionals and students of fashion and clothing industry. However, nothing prevents it to also be a tool of discovery and learning.

Annie Cyr is a textile specialist for an important uniforms company. She has a diversified experience in the industry of textile and clothing. She has a bachelor in industrial fashion management from the Superior fashion school of the ESG UQàM, a Collegial diploma in fashion design and a specialization in shoes and accessories design. Her experiences and studies were acquired worldwild. She is working on daily basis closely with the textile and clothing industry, which allows her to know the lastest important technical trends from the industry and understand the expectations of the customers.
