Set between the fictional Southeast Asian nation-island of Pulau (based on Singapore) and Egypt, The Haze tells the story of Hector Kane, a CIA spy who receives an unexpected call from a Saudi prince who claims that Hector's wife is a Chinese spy who's seduced and kidnapped the prince's son.

In this intricate tale, Hector must solve the mystery surrounding his wife and the prince's son without raising any suspicion from the CIA. And he has to do so during one of the most delicate CIA operation in years.
