Every century, hundreds of millions of people travel around the world in the direction of their special purpose or for their holidays. Whether it is the excitement of encounter or the end of a need, this mass of people is seriously interested in photography. The fact that some amateur photographers also reach the artistic results achieved by successful artists should not be seen as something unusual in a part of the photographs that we consider to be insignificant. Because in the photograph it is probable that accidentalness can always exist. The fact that coincidental winds have a chance to blow a curious person and they have the chance to take some unusual photographs should not mean that this luck will last.

Cerkes Karadag born in Kagizman, Kars. He graduated Agrı Naci Gökçe High School, Gazi Education Institute Painting Department and Gazi University Faculty of Education Graphic Department. He served in the Ministry of Culture, Publications Department and Cinema Department. He participated in national and international photo contests and biennales, his photographs received prizes. In 2000 the Czech Republic State Honor Medal was awarded the title of "IFSAK photographer of the year" in the 2004 art season. He wrote essays and articles on photography and contemporary photography in newspapers and magazines. He photographed the cities of Prague, Budapest, Mersin / Mut, Gaziantep, Ankara, Bursa, and Nicosia. His books and photographs were the subjects of many Turkish poets, writers, painters and ceramicists. He gave lessons in Hacettepe, Suleyman Demirel, Yeditepe, Near East, Dogus University and Ankara Maturation Institute. He still continues to work at his studio in Istanbul and teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Visual Communication Design at Isik University and Yeditepe University.
