The JoyFull Journey is an intimate, prophetic devotional written in the voice of God the Shepherd appealing to the hearts of his sons and daughters to "come away" with Him. What awaits is a journey that carefully unfolds as He leads his sheep through the valley to a place of full joy. The devotional calls on the reader to dig deep, and confront the emotional baggage that may be preventing them from growing closer to the Lord. By trusting him in the hard places, the reader emerges with a greater sense of trust in Father God - having encountered Him in a real and personal way.

Lisa Saunders was born in Portland, Oregon on December 21, 1964, and is the youngest child of her beloved parents, Mr. And Mrs. Vollie Manning. Raised in church all of her life, Lisa had a life-changing encounter with Jesus at the age of 17 and she accepted Him as her Lord and Savior. However, her own life choices led her down a 9 year journey of brokenness and despair until December 1990, when at the age of 26, the Spirit of the Lord walked right into a nightclub on a Saturday night and met Lisa at the center of her "broken place" and recaptured her heart. She rededicated her life to the Lord that next Sunday morning and hasn't looked back. Lisa serves with her husband, Anthony Saunders, at Emmanuel Church in Portland, Oregon where Bishop C.T. and Lady DeAngeloa Wells are Shepherds. She flows prophetically through writing, worship, intercessory prayer, and personal ministry. Lisa also is the Founder of Resurrection Ministries, and conducts an outreach ministry for women called Crystal Gathering Women's Ministry which endeavors to lead women from the "broken place" to a place of healing, hope, and restoration in Christ their Redeemer - the same road she herself had to walk. The desire of her heart is to see God's people healed, free, full of joy, and purposefully walking in their Kingdom assignment. Lisa and her husband Anthony are the proud parents of a blended bunch that includes three sons, three daughters, and two grandchildren. Her heart, indeed, is full. Lisa's favorite scripture is Luke 1:45: "Blessed is she who believed there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord."
