Around three o'clock in the morning, when everybody was long asleep, the "Gutso's" supporters attacked their barrack armed with knives, hammers and metal wires. It was a true massacre. The events take place in Siberia and Far East. Winter, bone chilled cold day... While walking the railroad tracks early morning, the railroad guard stumbles upon the frozen corpse of a young man. The victim was not identified and as such was buried at the local cemetery in grave marked as "unknown". Two years later the famous journalist was murdered under the mysterious circumstances in the large seaport city, far from the pervious incident. Then few more serious crimes occur one after another. All crimes seem to be unrelated. The local detectives are unsuccessfully trying to solve these crimes when the solution is right in front of their eyes. Who committed these crimes? Who is this two-faced Janus figure that takes on multiple identities? How does he manage to manipulate the people's lives so easily? Discover it for yourself when reading this interesting novel about the human cruelty and love, which is based on real events.

The author of the novel "The last role of an "Actor"" Arzhanov Nikolay Ivanovich was born in Russia. He is a lawyer by education and a retired Colonel of Police. During his professional career he had to frequently deal with cunning and elusive criminals who used human weaknesses and flaws to commit appalling crimes. These real events became the basis for this novel from the series "The Art of Con-Russian Style". Currently two more books from the same series are being published. They are written jointly with his wife, Arzhanova Tatiana Aleksandrovna. Arzhanov Nikolay Ivanovich now lives in USA in the state of Virginia.
