The Love of Clouds is a collection of cloud photographs, paintings, verses, and short reflections inspired by the art and wonder of the sky. Created by Regina Burchett and Pat Jobe, the book offers a quiet delight to anyone who cherishes clouds and finds joy in thumbing through its 58 pages. In many ways, it reflects the life's work of both authors. Jobe has been published or anthologized in nine other books, including The Best of Radio Free Bubba, The Return of Radio Free Bubba, and 365 Ways to Criticize the Preacher. Burchett's creative work spans both visual and literary realms, with her novel Friends of Orion complementing her decades of cloud-inspired art. Their friendship blossomed through the Unitarians of Lake Norman, an inclusive and welcoming congregation in Davidson, North Carolina. Exchanging cloud photos became a meaningful part of their connection-an ongoing conversation with the sky. Burchett's artwork, poems, and essays can be found at reginaburchett.com and Jobe's spiritual reflections on ineffable oneness will soon appear in his forthcoming book, The Strongest Man in the World.

Burchett, Regina Calton: - Regina Calton Burchett is a North Carolina artist working in pastels, charcoal, and oils. She graduated from Michigan State University, studying textiles and art, and has continued her art studies after graduation. Her passion lies in capturing the ever-changing beauty of the sky through her artwork. She loves to observe the movement of the clouds, the colors along the horizon, and how the sky changes throughout the day. Regina gratefully shares life with her wonderful and talented husband of 44 years, Larry Burchett. She is the author of the novel Friends of Orion, and her artwork and writing can be viewed at: www.reginaburchett.com

Jobe, Pat: - Pat Jobe is the minister of the Unitarians of Lake Norman and All Souls Community in Rutherford County, both in North Carolina. He was arrested twice protesting the refusal of the S.C. legislature to extend Medicaid benefits. He writes for a local paper in his hometown of Forest City. For 19 years, he and co-writers have performed Radio Free Bubba on WNCW.org. He loves his wife, Gabriele, his family and his dogs and everything. His favorite words found on the back of a car are, "Life is good." He can be found on Facebook. He's the one with the picture of him kissing his two-year-old granddaughter. He has been a pastoral minister for 32 years. He is the author of 365 Ways To Criticize The Preacher and other books.
