Along the way he meets the love of his life and together they raise their three children. Julian Mock was a successful high school baseball coach, high school principal, and professional baseball scout but he was also a mentor, a father-figure, and a devoted friend to everyone who knew him. Led by his deep faith and devotion to help his fellow man, The Man In The Dugout is the story of a man who made an impact on the lives of everyone he met. A man's legacy is made by what others say about him and after reading his story, you, too, will understand why he is so respected and loved. Husband, father, coach, principal, and scout- Julian Mock did it all.

Randy Blalock is the author of several children's books and his novel, THE MANY WALKS OF LIFE, has achieved rave reviews. A native of Atlanta, Georgia he now lives in Winder, Georgia with his wife, Cindy. Randy has two grown children, a son and a daughter, and two grandsons. He is an avid sports fan who will, hopefully, complete his goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium in 2017. He enjoys reading, listening to music, and is a self-acknowledged couch potato. He and his wife are members of Winder First United Methodist Church where Randy has taught an adult Sunday School class for the last 15 years. He also leads the Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service each year as Lay Pastor. His hobbies are reading, playing trivia games (don't call him when JEOPARDY! Is on), and playing his fantasy baseball league. Randy continues to write and is currently working on his next project- a collection of sports columns he wrote for a local newspaper.
