Laura Kabiri, PT, DPT, PhD, is a licensed physical therapist and professor in the sports medicine and exercise physiology program at Rice University in Houston, Texas. She has over 15 years of experience in higher education and has received multiple teaching and mentoring awards, including the Rice University George R. Brown Award for Superior Teaching, the Wiess School of Natural Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award, and the national Sam Drogo Technology in the Classroom Award.
