This is the inspiring true story of how Mr. Gregg Breinberg, better known as Mr. B, turned a wonderful group of Staten Island fifth graders into a world-famous chorus. From their first practice in an old school auditorium to performing at the Academy Awards, the United Nations, and even President Obama's Inauguration, the PS 22 Chorus proved that with heart, music, and teamwork, anything is possible. Through challenges at home and school, these kids found their voices and shared them with the world.

About The Author

Auerbacher, Inge: - Inge Auerbacher is a Jewish Holocaust survivor, author, and speaker. Born in Germany in 1934, she was just a young girl when she and her family were sent to the Theresienstadt concentration camp during World War II. Despite the terrible conditions, Inge survived, becoming one of the very few children from the camp to make it out alive.After the war, Inge moved to the United States where she built a new life. She later became a chemist and began writing books to help children and adults understand the Holocaust. Her best-known book, "I Am a Star: Child of the Holocaust," shares her memories as a child in the camp. Inge travels to schools and communities around the world, teaching messages of tolerance, hope, and the importance of remembering history.

Croog, Michael: - Michael Croog is a writer, producer, and storyteller from New Jersey. He has created commercials and interstitials for national television networks and now focuses on telling meaningful stories that inspire audiences of all ages.Michael helps bring Inge Auerbacher's story to life for dreamers of every generation, exploring history in a way that feels both real and deeply personal.
