Eleanor Alspaugh is currently an author and part-time photographer. Raised in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Shippensburg University and has been a long time resident of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she resides with her husband Stephen and family. Formerly an Assistant Vice President, she somehow found time to capture in writing some of the antics of raising her three kids and experiencing life as a working wife and mother. The Mommy-Go-Round is the result and is a humorous and heartwarming account of motherhood, childhood and everything in between. Eleanor is currently working on a book called The Heart of a Soldier which is centered primarily around her Father's World War 2 experiences as a soldier as written in his letters home to her Mother. The letters share his life as a soldier as well as his love for her Mother and their hopes for a future together. The book also includes Eleanor's reflective thoughts and feelings and touches on select events occurring during the war as well as what his outfit, The Sixth Armored Division, also known as the Super Sixth, was experiencing as the letters were being written. Eleanor looks forward to spending more time writing a sequel to The Mommy-Go-Round once The Heart of a Soldier is completed.
