This understanding will work for any music and can be applied to all instruments. Presented to you here in this book is knowledge that belongs to every one of us and can be used by all players regardless of their age, level, or choice of musical style.

Volume one is a fundamental piano course and music theory course combined in a single book and is based on the experience of many years teaching music and observing how students actually learn in the formal setting of piano lessons. After completing this first volume you should be equipped with basic piano skills and the musical understanding required for most first year college music classes.
