A mischievous comet has toppled the dozing moon from the sky. He lands in the ocean and begins an exciting adventure, making new friends with the creatures of the sea. Much as he wants to stay and play, the sky, stars and planets need him back where he belongs. His new friends Wilma and Wanda try hard to help, but in the end their mother uses her enormous whale tail to fling him back into the sky, leaving a trail of moon dust in his wake.

Sure to tickle the imagination of readers young and old, this is a delightful first children's book by award winning author Margaret Guppy, beautifully illustrated by Jill Riordan.

Guppy, Margaret: - Margaret lives in country Victoria, with her husband, dog and cat. When not writing she is an active member of seven varied groups/clubs. She enjoys local and overseas travel and is a U3A student working on perfecting her Italian language skills. Originally an award-winning short story and poetry writer, this is Margaret's first children's storybook. As a young mother, she enjoyed snuggling with and reading bedtime stories to her three children. Many of these books still hold a special place in her memory. Margaret believes this book will have the same effect on you, her readers.

Riordan, Jill: - Jill has been passionate about drawing and painting since childhood but like many others, ongoing roadblocks to a career in fine arts saw her career move in a very different direction. Then life provided the space and time for her to indulge her artistic passion. Lots of different opportunities became available through being a facilitator for a 'Scribblers' art group within the GV-U3A and painting with like-minded friends.Although Jill's main medium has been oils, the discovery of watercolors has been a joy to her. Using her drawing and oil painting skills combined with a quirky sense of humor, Jill has enjoyed producing the illustrations used in this book.
