"No way big bro!" Emma yelled as she jumped over the brook. She left the bags and supplies behind. "I am going to see what is around this corner."

"Wait for me!" Parker huffed a big sigh as he crossed the brook. "Mom is not going to be happy if you get lost again."

The Miller Kids books are hi-lo chapter books with high-interest topics and a low-readability level. They are a perfect choice for children just starting to read chapter books or children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. One in four children is dyslexic, or diagnosed with a learning disability and often they have a hard time finding books that entertain them, while also being at their reading level. The Miller Kids Series are written with these children in mind, created for children aged 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 with a 3rd, 4th or 5th grade reading level.

About The Author

Senec, Taylyn: - First and foremost, I am a mom of two amazing little humans. After almost 10 years of reading children's books multiple times a day, I found myself channeling my creative side to write my first story based upon a story I would tell my son at bedtime. I then started writing chapter books for my 9 year old daughter after finding it hard to locate books that interested her at her reading level. Residing in Massachusetts, I also love spending time at the beach, traveling, watching fireworks, blogging and being outdoors. I like to spend my weekends hiking through the woods with my family and miniature dachshund.
