The Next Adventure Begins! This is the second book in the highly acclaimed Spunky Murder Mystery series. Once again, the wise and lovable canine, Spunky, and her feline cohorts are up to their cute little necks in a mystery. Their escapades begin when Spunky and her cat buddy, Fearless, accompany their human - Dr. Hannah Richards, to greet the elderly residents at Lakeland Manor. One man in particular, Mr. Kenneth Boyd forms a unique attachment to Spunky. However, as their usual bond deepens so does Spunky's concern for him. When a sudden death changes everything, Spunky and her tomcats are determined to find the truth. They know one crucial fact, but how can they get the humans to see beyond the obvious? Good thing Spunky's a terrier - she loves a challenge! Here what people are saying... "I LOVE this book and have been waiting for it to come out ever since I read the first book, The Nose Knows, and loved it. Well...Spunky and Ms. Lewitas have gone and done it again with The Nose Sees All--ONLY BETTER! I love the voices of Spunky and her neutered tom cat co-sleuth Fearless. I was hooked from the first page and didn't want to put it down at the end! I can't wait for the third book in the Spunky Murder Mystery series. If you love dogs, cats, a good mystery and a chuckle, then The Nose Sees All is for you too!" - Glenda Wilhite, The Fairydogmother. "You are going to love this book! It is well written, fun, fast-moving and I bet you'll never guess who-done-it. Seeing the world through Spunky's wise little eyes just makes you see your own world differently. The relationship between her and the cats and Hannah is awesome! I strongly recommend this book to anyone - including young adults - who wants to read a mystery that is engrossing and heartwarming. - Amazon reviewer. Join us in the adventure!
Holly Lewitas grew up in Bay Shore, Long Island in the 1950s, the middle daughter of two World War II veterans. She grew up as American as apple pie and Chevrolet, until she went to college in the 1960s, when, as she puts it, "all the influences came to bear." She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree and went on to become a registered nurse. Her employers repeatedly placed her in management positions, overseeing psychiatric nursing, the treatment of developmental disabilities, and home health care. In the 1980s, Holly and her husband established their own home health agency in Chicago, which they operated for more than a decade. In 1994, they sold the company and retired to Wisconsin, where they lived until she suddenly became a widow in 2001. Holly now lives and writes full-time in Alabama, surrounded by her many rescued animal companions-"critters," as she calls them-several of whom are the stars of all her books in the Spunky Murder Mysteries series -The Nose Knows, The Nose Sees All and An Army of Noses. Of course, all three are narrated in Spunky's unique voice. As is apparent from her fiction, Holly Lewitas knows animals and loves them, plus she understands and writes fluent "Terrier."
