About The Book

After suffering a stroke of fate, Ana finds comfort in her former schoolmate, the Swedish author Tjorben, with whom she has maintained a close pen-pal relationship for years. When she feels better, she travels to see him in wintry Svealand to thank him personally for his support. But when she arrives, she is not greeted by him, but by J�rdis, who introduces herself as his partner. She explains to Ana that Tjorben is staying at his country house to work on a new screenplay in seclusion. Nevertheless, she does not send Ana away, but offers her a guest room. Days pass and Ana senses that something is wrong. She tries to shed light on the situation and embarks on a search that will change not only her life.
