Thoth, a non-physical entity providing this material through a channeling process in 1982, leads the reader on an allegorical journey toward understanding how personal fulfillment is intertwined with the health of the Earth. Gaea, our Mother Earth, is presented as a living consciousness made up of smaller consciousness particles. Humans along with the other life forms on the earth are presented as the basic elements of Gaea's consciousness. The prediction of catastrophic and destructive earth changes is considered from this perspective. Through the use of analogies correlating Gaea's consciousness to that of a human psyche, the cause of this predicted destruction is attributed to a state of depression in which Gaea has come to feel a loss of self-worth. Reality is established as a spectrum of dimensional foci each affecting and being affected by the others. Seen in this way, our individual roles in helping solve Gaea's depression involve each person learning to free their creative and aggressive energies in positive, mutually respectful ways leading to Gaea finding a freer expression of her creative energies on her reality level. Both philosophical and psychological explanations and suggestions are offered including a meditation.

Raised in the Catholic faith, Nori Gill, had a strong belief in a Higher Creative power of Love from her early life. With the heart of a teacher, philosopher, mystic, and poet, Nori left her Catholic roots in young adulthood to explore Eastern philosophy. Her twelve years of dedicated yoga disciplines often ran to three hours daily. During those years her focus continued to be on the Divine as Love in the form of Krishna. Then she began an exploration into Western mystic practices including a three year study of the channeling phenomenon out of which came this book. Throughout her life Nori sought to develop both her rational, logical left brain and her creative, intuitive right brain. Her intuition and creativity were developed through writing poetry and music while her careers in teaching mathematics and working as a counseling psychologist developed her logical and scientific problem-solving skills. Her early devotional faith cemented her commitment to spiritual growth and her dedication to Eastern philosophy brought her a desire to be a part of the consciousness movement. So it was quite natural that she was immediately drawn to explore and experience the channeling phenomenon when she was told it was possible to develop the skill during her first exposure to the phenomenon of channeling. Her scientific and logical mind naturally moved her to explore the phenomenon from a scientific perspective and her sensitive creative side moved her to explore it experientially. Nori is now retired and living in Holland, Ohio with her 16 year old Pomeranian, Tucker. She spends her time continuing to write, pursuing greater understanding of the oneness inherent in the universe, and seeking her unique ways to contribute to the consciousness movement.
