About The Author

DeMers, Kelly E.: - Kelly E. Demers is an associate professor of education at Saint Anselm College, where she teaches courses on multicultural perspectives, ESOL instruction, and arts integration. She received her Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from Boston College and a M.Ed. from Lesley University.

Sherman, Diana: - Diana Sherman is an assistant professor of education at Saint Anselm College, where she teaches courses on elementary mathematics methods, principles of teaching and learning, and fundamentals of pedagogy. Dr. Sherman earned Ph.D. with a focus in mathematics education from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a M.S. in mathematics (elementary) from Central Connecticut State University.
