BOOK (2): SCIENTIFIC INTERPRETATION OF THE QURAN - CASE STUDIES is to introduce the reader to the realm of the scientific notions in the Qur'an, and how to understand it correctly. The reader will find the various extensive case studies explored in this book, as very informative and interesting, and hopefully will add a lot to their knowledge in both Islam and Science alike.

Chapter (1) sets forth the basic rules and a road map for correct scientific interpretation of the plethora of scientific notions (signs) within the Qur'an. Using many examples and case studies, the chapter paves the road for those who would like to delve into the Qur'anic realm of science.

Chapter (2) emphasizes the importance of collecting all the ayahs (verses) and hadiths talking about the same subject and study them simultaneously in order to visualize the full picture. Many case studies are discussed in detail, including-for the first time-the Qur'anic Timeline of the Universe Creation (QTUC)

Chapter (3) focuses on another major rule for a correct interpretation, which is the Arabic terminology used by the Qur'an. Every word in the Qur'an has a very accurate and precise meaning that no other word can replace it. Understanding the exact meaning of the key words in a scientific notion is inevitable to get its correct meaning

Chapters (4) and (5) explore a very challenging issue: What should we do when the Qur'an clearly clashes with some generally accepted theories. Twisting the Qur'anic meanings to fit a theory would be a grieve mistake. The chosen case study here is a very debatable one, namely: Human Origins. Chapter (4) explores all the scientific evidence on human evolution, while Chapter (5) explores the Qur'anic story on the human origins. Both stories are analysed in detail, compared with each other, and final conclusions are made

Chapter (6) tackles another challenging subject, which is how to utilize the scientific information in the Qur'an to devise new hypotheses that can assist modern science. Two case studies are explored; Dark Matter and Dark Energy.
