Lallu Lal (1763–1835) was a key figure in the development of modern Hindi literature. His notable work, Prem Sagar (1810), is the first significant prose text in the Khari Boli dialect, marking a shift from Persian and Urdu. He also translated works into Hindustani and wrote a grammar on Braj Bhasha and John Shakespeare John Shakespeare (1531–1601) was an English businessman and politician, best known as the father of playwright William Shakespeare. A successful glover, he held civic roles in Stratford-upon-Avon, including mayor in 1568. Despite early success, he faced financial troubles and legal issues in the late 1570s, with his legacy linked to his son's literary fame.
