Dean, Carolee: - Carolee Dean, MS, CCC-SLP, CALT is an adjunct instructor at Providence College teaching Language-Based Learning for students pursuing a Master of Education in Special Education with a Dyslexia Credential. She is a speech-language pathologist with 20 years of experience in public schools. She is the founder of Word Travel Press LLC, creating decodable books and related materials. Dean is also the author of Story Frames for Literacy: Enhancing Student Learning Through the Power of Storytelling (2021, Paul H. Brookes Publishing Co, Inc). She has also written award-winning young adult fiction available through Houghton Mifflin and Simon Pulse.

Weltner, Krista: - Krista Weltner, M.F.A. is the author and illustrator of the Everyday Adventures With Molly and Dyslexia series (Free Spirit Publishing), which was inspired by her own experience growing up with Dyslexia. Krista's short film, Partially Compensated (also inspired by her experience with dyslexia), has been seen in film festivals worldwide and has afforded her numerous opportunities to advocate for a more inclusive world. Outside of her advocacy work, Krista is a professional puppet maker. Her work can be seen in theme parks around the world, in Laika Studio's upcoming film, Wildwood, and Netflix Animation's Wendell and Wild.
