It's not right because it's in the Constitution; it's in the Constitution because it's right. For more than 75 years our founding document has been battered, twisted, and maligned; whether this has been for the larger purpose of justifying massive government size and control, or for the petty desires of any number of corrupt groups or individuals, the result has been a serious weakening of the core document that has, up to this point, guaranteed the freedom allowing our Union to shine and prosper. Unless we understand this, we must lose all that we have and are. If we can recognize this, we can change the trajectory of our future back to the positive course upon which our founders placed us. The ReConstitution Amendments provides an interesting discussion of our Constitution and points out a number of the multitude of attacks upon its content and structure. It also provides a description of the only solution we have left; a course of action to which we all can contribute even at our local levels. While it is useful and necessary that we win elections to place people in office that understand and respect our heritage and Constitution, history has demonstrated that even with such enlightened choices the natural tendency is toward societal decay and chaos. It is only by reasserting our tried-and-true standard and vigilantly preserving its coalesced knowledge and timeless wisdom learned from millennia of human existence, that we can regain the higher ground of the greatness that has resulted. The ReConstitution Amendments promises that we can regain control of our future, and reminds us of how freedom blesses us all.

During his career Dave Daehler has worked in senior management of the finance wings of Memorex Finance, Unisys Finance, Motorola/Codex, and Security Pacific Credit Corporation. With an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of California at Berkeley, he has also expended efforts in the oil and gas industry both domestically and in West Africa. His interest in political thought originated during the Clinton administration, at the time when the seeds of the recent housing crisis were being firmly sown. Emanating from his research into the writings of the Founders, his understanding of the Constitution comes out in a number of interesting and perhaps unique ways in a prose that is accessible to the average reader.
