A chance meeting with Morgan Wright took RV traveler Ripley Capilano to Harmony Hills Equestrian Center. Little did she know this was the beginning of her greatest adventure of all.
When a traumatized horse immediately bonded with Ripley, she took it upon herself to restore the horse's trust. Alongside Morgan's best friend and manager Ty Stanton, Ripley worked to instill hope in the horse for a new life. But as she spent time with Ty, she discovered she wanted to put her own hope and trust in him.
Due to a dangerous past, Ty Stanton had accepted that a love of his own just wasn't in his future. That is, until the morning he met Ripley Capilano. Soon, his former acceptance of being alone was being challenged.

As an Award-Winning and Best-Selling author, I have often used quotes for inspiration and motivation. Maybe even for direction.
One of my all-time favorites is:
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'WOW-what a ride!'" Hunter S. Thompson
This has been a quote and sentiment I've lived by for nearly three decades...even before I knew who even said it! And to complement it, my own lifelong core belief is simple: "How is one to know what they are good at, what they like or don't like, or what they can do, if they never try and do it?"
So I go out and do it.
Having these two main thoughts taking up space in my head has led me on many interesting paths all across North America from central Mexico to Canada, Maine to Washington, Texas to Alaska...and even into the oceans. I've been in every US state except Hawaii (gotta sell some books!!)--most of them numerous times.
Now I'm writing about my real-life experiences in these places while weaving in some fiction so I don't get sued.
A lifelong equestrian, I began riding horses at age 4 and have decades working with them in about every capacity. I'm an absolute animal lover, both wild and domestic.
