The Rights of Woman-The Subjection of Women by Mary Wollstonecraft and John Stuart Mill are foundational texts in feminist philosophy. Wollstonecraft's 1792 work demands equal education and rights for women, emphasizing reason and moral agency. Mary Wollstonecraft (1759–1797): was a pioneering English writer and advocate of women’s rights. Her groundbreaking work A Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792) argued for equal education and rationality in women. She laid the foundation for modern feminist thought, challenging the traditional roles assigned to women. John Stuart Mill (1806–1873):was a British philosopher, economist, and political theorist. His influential essay The Subjection of Women (1869) argued for gender equality and women’s legal rights. A progressive thinker, Mill supported social reform, liberty, and education, and was a strong advocate for women's suffrage and emancipation.
