Educated at the University of Edinburgh and Balliol College, Oxford, Keith demonstrated exceptional aptitude in classical studies. Before transitioning to academia, he held several roles in the Colonial Office. Keith's profound contributions significantly enriched the fields of Sanskrit studies and constitutional law.
