About The Book

A fractured retelling of the classic fairy tale about a wolf's hunger and the temptation of seven little kid goats - or in this case 'goatlings, ' left at home all alone. Mama Goat has to work to fend for herself and her goatlings. Mr. Wolf, a quick learner, turns to the local community to find assistance in tricking the goatlings so they will open the door. The question is, will he succeed? And if he does, what are there consequences?

Told by seven authors, this story is, nonetheless, a whole. Bound into one with laughter and tears. It is a cautionary tale of the tension between survival and the manipulation of a determined predator.

About The Author

Sheely, Cat: -

I am a writer, editor and publisher for the Secret Society of Words. My interests include reading, writing and discussing speculative fiction and I have a keen interest in new scientific discoveries (astrology, space exploration, cosmology, physics, psychology etc). I like to read about Australia, the political arena and environmental issues. I also love to knit and cross-stitch when I'm not into books, on the computer writing or out kayaking, I'm swimming and golfing.

I'm a member of the Eurobodalla Fellowship of Australian Writers (EFAW) evening group and the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild.
