The Seven Senses, Book One of Girls, Guys, & Spies, another riveting Sci-Fi Thriller Series by H. G. Shuler. This first book in the series masterfully blends the worlds of high-stakes espionage and cutting-edge technology. Set against the contrasting back drops of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Washington, D. C., this novel takes readers on a whirlwind journey through the eyes of Paxton Thomas, a young woman who regains her sight through advanced government technology after being blinded by an explosion at the tender age of ten. Yet, what initially seems like a miracle quickly spirals into a life-threatening ordeal, as Pax discovers that her new abilities extend far beyond mere vision.

Shuler's story telling is both thrilling and thought-provoking, as it delves into themes of identity, trust, and the ethical ramifications of technological advancements. The character of Pax is compelling--strong yet vulnerable, and her journey of self-discovery is as engaging as the intricate plot twists that keep readers on the edge of their seats. The novel's climax is a heart-pounding race against time, leaving readers questioning who can be trusted and whether Pax's newfound abilities will be enough to save her. The Seven Senses is a must-read for fans of sci-fi and espionage, offering a unique blend of action, intrigue, and emotional depth.

The narrative opens with Pax's transformative surgery in Albuquerque, an event that not only restores her sight but also endows her with extraordinary capabilities. As she begins to uncover these new faculties, Pax finds herself ensnared in a web of espionage involving the FBI, CIA, Pentagon, and numerous foreign spies, all vying for the groundbreaking technology implanted in her. The tension is palpable as Pax, along with a team of dedicated agents, must navigate carefully conceived double-crosses and clandestine operations to protect her and the advanced tech she harbors.

Shuler, H. G.: - Harold Shuler, born summer of 1959 in Douglasville, Georgia, spent a few years in Augusta, Georgia, and then grew up in Cobb County, Georgia, where he attended South Cobb High School.
