S. Kodejs was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She loves writing scary fiction with a socially conscious edge. "My best compliment is when my readers say they need to keep the light on after reading my work. I practise reading my material on my husband and three sons. It's hard to creep them out, so when I do, I know the material is working. My goal is to craft stories that give goosebumps while making the reader think, 'Hmm... What if that really happened?'" Hobbies include a love for travel, cheering on St Mary's University soccer and football teams, and hiking with her dog, Bru.
