Slugger: A snail with a tough shell and an even tougher attitude.
Blink: A socially awkward younger firefly who struggles to find the right words-or the right flash.
Willoughby: An astute old turtle with a knack for mentoring those who need it most. First Piper, and later, all his friends.
Rufus: A hardworking ant and chairman of the prestigious Garden Ant Association.
Miranda: The kind and generous old woman who tends the farm and its gardens, where some of the magic finds a home.
Crumpet: Miranda's prized cow, with a personality as big as her spots.

Donegal: Piper's father, a legendary spinner and past member of the prestigious Order of Weavers and Spinners.
