Kate Jones is Head of History at The British School Al Khubairat in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She provides regular training for educators and leaders both in the UK and internationally. Kate has spoken at various educational conferences around the world and is also the author of Love to Teach: Research and Resources for Every Classroom (2018), Retrieval Practice: Research & Resources for Every Classroom (2019), Retrieval Practice 2: Implementing, embedding & reflecting (2021), and Retrieval Practice: Resource Guide (2021).

Robin Macpherson is Head of College at Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen. Robin studied history at Oxford University and the University of Edinburgh, and has taught in Scotland, England and the UAE. He has been an examiner for the SQA, Edexcel and the IBO. He has written education books and history textbooks for John Catt Educational, Learning Sciences International and Cambridge University Press.
