"When memory becomes legacy, no one is forgotten."

From the Broken Peace of 1914 to the turbulent dawn of the 21st century, The Three Coins for the Ferryman follows a family marked by wars, forced migrations, and the search for identity. Across generations, the voice of memory-relentless-traces an intimate and winding journey where love, pain, and the desire for redemption struggle for meaning.

Through the attentive gaze of the narrator, family stories emerge; hidden histories yearning to be heard, revealing the human cost of survival and family legacy.

The Three Coins for the Ferryman become both symbol and compass:
what course will this family choose in the face of the unexpected and the impossible to forget?

"A deeply human novel that interweaves history, memory, and hope."

Miguel Oszwald was born in Buenos Aires in 1951, into a family of Hungarian and Austrian roots. After studying at the Goethe School Buenos Aires and at the Salzburg School of Hotel Management and Tourism, his professional life led him to travel the world with airlines such as Swissair and Lufthansa. That experience of journeys and cultures shaped his perspective on history and memory.

Since the 1990s, he has combined his passion for literature by attending writing workshops in Paris, Sitges, and Barcelona, where he began shaping his "fictionalized memoirs."

With The Three Coins for the Ferryman, he brings to completion a long writing journey that intertwines family destinies and historical events across a turbulent century.
