The Turks are perhaps the only Asian nation that has lived the most extended period as a transcontinental nomad in the world, interacting with other communities from different geographical areas along their journey. As a result, they must confront the new values and analyse them, and therefore, their way of life and their worldview vary considerably when they internalise them. But looking at the telescope of history you can see that some things go to the present without many changes making you smile.At first, for many centuries being a society that lives in nature, occupying and surviving with the breeding of livestock is also constantly remodelling and enriching their values, culture and expectations. And this also strengthens them by being in constant movement and occasionally due to the merger with different nationalities. The nomadic lifestyle based on helping and sharing eventually makes them have excellent tolerance.All these complexities, their feelings; love, sadness, joy, memories, aspirations and subtleties are reflected in the designsof beautiful colourful carpets that Turkmen girls have been woven for thousands of years.Finally, when the great immigration ends, they become a sedentary society. Neighbourhood relationships when faced with new problems in new areas and, sometimes, having to communicate and interact with each other, allow the community to learn new things to survive and also give them the chance to transmit to others what they know.During this period, the changes in the international community and, on the other hand, the new formations make the current atmosphere more complex, while analysing the specific ideas and movements and seeking connections between them clarify the understanding of current events.However, the research is not limited only to the history of the Turks. Important and relevant points of the Old World are also highlighted, that is, of Europe, Asia and Africa, their societies and their values concerning local and global formations, as well as the reasons that give rise to both world wars.At the stage of the process of compiling and examining the events described in the book that corresponds approximately to about 2,500 years, and which refers partially to the Ancient Age and the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Modern Age including the New Age, were compared their expressions in different languages and tried to obtain objectively the most realistic result.
