Gino DiCaprio was born in France as the second of three children. He immigrated with his family to Montreal, Quebec, as a child and has lived in Canada ever since. He has three wonderful children with his ex-wife, who is still a major influence on his writing and career. Throughout DiCaprio's life, friends and family have relied on him for wisdom and advice, and he brings that experience to his readers.

DiCaprio began writing the Universal Law of Creation series after spending time imprisoned for a crime of which he was ultimately acquitted. This time spent awaiting vindication taught him that everything has a purpose and gave him the insight he needed to pen his books.
