About the Author Jessica Blackbond Born and raised in Yorkshire, UK; Jessica graduated from university in Leeds and danced professionally both onstage and for the television. In her late 20's, while travelling the globe, she became inspired to open a dance and fitness studio centred on the ethos of 'exciting and enthusing people from all walks of life to be committed to looking good and feeling great'. Trained in the Graham Technique, Classical Pilates, Holistic Massage Therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine Reflexology, Jessica has honed her skills to focus on her passion of body posture and the benefits of holding oneself correctly with powerful posture. Jessica wrote this book during a two year sabbatical in China, where she learnt the principles and methodology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Reflexology. It was in China where she discovered the Tao philosophy of the five elements of nature and the interdependence of yin and yang. And it was in China where inspiration struck to combine her TCM and Pilates knowledge to create a website specifically for men and women to help reduce body stress, prevent disease, and manage emotional moods in an alternative format.
