The Whosoever Gospels are for whosoever may read the testimony of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John regarding Jesus of Nazareth. Taken and adapted from The Holy Bible American Standard Edition, The Whosoever Gospels retain this wonderful word, whosoever, throughout the telling by the four evangelists. Dropped by many "modern" English language translations in favor of a more contemporary idiom, the incredible inclusive nature of the term is lost to the eyes and ears and hearts of whosoever reads the good news about the Jesus. No other expression means "me too," quite like a good, old-fashioned whosoever: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." This "Chapter and Verse Edition" of "The Whosoever Gospels" keeps the double columns and chapter and verse numbers common to many English language Bibles. This provides those who are already acquainted with the Gospels a familiar format for once again reading the testimony of Matthew. Mark, Luke, and John. It also allows the reader to easily compare The Whosoever Gospels with other translations.

Jim Henkel is a local church Pastor who has worked with congregations in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Mary Jo, have been joyously married for more than forty years. Together, they have five adult children and three grandchildren: Hannah, Zachary, and Josephine. He holds a B.A. degree from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, and a M.Div. degree from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL. He and his wife share their home with two lap puppies, Cocoa and Doughjo.
