The Second Edition of Therapeutic Interaction in Nursing expertly addresses communication issues relevant to nurses who regularly interact with various cultures, special populations, and families. The updated edition includes new chapters written to address the needs identified by those in both academic and clinical settings, including how and when to promote health literacy. Every chapter has been enhanced with current, evidence-based content, clinical examples and exercises where relevant. Content on emotional and social intelligence helps professional and student nurses take the focus off of their own anxiety and place it on the distinctive needs of each client.
