About The Author

Anjaly Thomas is a lawyer turned writer/traveler and author of three other books, currently based in Dubai. Her solo journeys around the world are a result of a conscious decision to sketch the world map based on her travels. From a novice backpacker who fled a mundane job at a newspaper to having visited North Korea pretending to be a school teacher, she has pretty much seen and done it all. She strongly believes that traveling solo sets the foundation for a better and more fruitful life because it teaches you everything that textbooks don't. To be able to learn real life lessons is far greater than reading the stories one finds between the pages of a school book, she says. So, go travel.
